The Qualifying Round of BWDG in Slany 2026

The Qualifying Round of Best World Dance Group 2026 in Slaný took place on March 28 under the motto “Love for Dance.”

This is exactly how the day was described by jury member Magdalena Matějková.

Leaders of dance groups presented their new choreographies, and their students gave outstanding performances, which was reflected in the excellent results achieved by many of them. Everything contributed to allowing participants in each category to fully showcase their skills and talent.

This was made possible thanks to:

  • a highly professional jury capable of appreciating both the work of colleagues and the potential of dancers;
  • stylish stage design with an angel motif, creating a unique atmosphere of joy and celebration;
  • comfortable warm-up conditions ensuring high-quality performances;
  • a spacious dance floor that transformed competitive choreographies into real shows.

Best World Dance Group provides choreographers with an opportunity to present their work as true art. Each competition style — ballet, jazz, contemporary, expressive dance, street dance, show dance, stylization, tap dance, acro dance, Latin, or aerobics — stands out vividly and colorfully on a stage enhanced by theatrical lighting and unique projections.
