
The Christmas semifinal of the Best World Dance Group Brno, held on December 13, 2025, became a true celebration and fairy tale thanks to the participants, choreographers, and parents.
Best World Dance Group thanks all participants for the high level of technical preparation, artistic performance, and the great atmosphere that could be felt in every competition piece.
The special Christmas atmosphere gave the Best World Dance Group semifinal on December 13, 2025 a festive and magical touch, exactly as befits the pre-Christmas season.
The imagination of the choreographers is admirable—they are able to find new and unexpected solutions while perfecting every movement. Special thanks go not only for the technique, but also for the strong artistic expression that elevates children’s and youth creativity to the level of true art.
The groups presented both their winning and brand-new choreographies. The best of them were highly praised by the jury.
The jury consisted of:

Ivan Popov – principal soloist of the NdB Ballet, ballet master, specialist in ballet, contemporary, jazz, stage and show dance.

Andrea Popov Smejkalová – principal soloist of the NdB Ballet, laureate of the Poupě baletu award, specialist in ballet, contemporary, and stage dance.

Anastasia Adeeva – artistic director of international competitions, WADF judge, casting for Disneyland, MSC and Costa; specialization in contemporary, jazz, show, street, standard, and Latin.
The cup for Best Choreography was awarded to Rain in Your Black Eyes by choreographers Simona and Sylva Křenková, achieving the maximum possible score of 100 points.
A special supplementary jury cup was awarded to the choreography Journey to Africa by the same choreographers. New and original solutions were performed with excellent technique and great spirit.
In the Solo, Duo, Trio category, the winning cup and the highest jury score of 100 points were awarded to:

No Mercy, choreographer Iva Kuptíková, performed by Aneta Chytráčková and Klára Chytráčková. The jury was delighted with this piece and described it as a model of children’s creative work.
As always, the enchanting choreography Do You Hear It Too?, also by Iva Kuptíková, was flawlessly performed by Vanesa Burdová. Here as well, the highest score of 100 points was awarded, along with the cup for Best Solo.

The winner of this category and of the entire solo competition became the CONTEMPORARY choreography Do You Hear It Too?, choreographer Iva Kuptíková, performed by Vanesa Burdová, with the maximum possible score of 100 points.

The winner of the CONTEMPORARY nomination was Nevyčnívej – 1st place, 88.3 points.
In the BALLET nomination, the choreography Les Misérables won – 1st place, 91.7 points.
At the final semifinal, qualifications were awarded for the World Cup Best World Dance Group 2026, which will take place on July 16–20, 2026, in the Italian theater of the famous amusement park Mirabilandia.
The winners were also invited to the Best World Dance Group 2025 Final Cup, which will be held on January 4, 2026, in Prague.
