We would like to thank all dancers, choreographers, and studios who have submitted their applications for the Best World Dance Group Slaný 2026 competition. We truly appreciate your interest and look forward to an inspiring dance event filled with talent, energy, and creativity.
As always, excellent professional conditions will be prepared for all participants. The competition will take place in the form of a modern gala show in Slaný, featuring designer stage lighting and original visual projections created for each choreography.
The backstage area will provide an authentic theatre atmosphere, and dancers will have access to spacious facilities for warm-ups and preparation before their performances.
One of the major advantages of the competition is its transparent judging system – participants will see the jury scores immediately after each performance. The official announcement of the final results will take place during the award ceremony.
Next Qualification Round
The next qualification round will take place on April 25 in Příbram.
Applications are accepted until April 13.
Winners of each round advance to the semifinals, which will be held at prestigious venues in the Czech Republic:
- Prague – May 2 (Arena Praha)
- Brno – June 6 (Boby Hall)
Both the semifinals and the final traditionally welcome international participants, creating a unique atmosphere where dancers from different countries come together.

Performances are evaluated using a 100-point system across four parameters, providing dancers, choreographers, and group leaders with a unique opportunity to receive high-quality professional feedback, a detailed analysis of their choreography, and inspiration for further artistic development.
