Best World Dance Group 2025: A Magical Start to the Year
The VI edition of the Best World Dance Group competition, held as part of the 21st “Winter Fairy Tale” Festival, kicked off 2025 in the most spectacular and enchanting way.
In the heart of Prague, at the Concert Hall of the Capital City, the finest dancers from Czechia, Moravia, Ukraine, and Israel came together to compete for the top awards in the Best World Dance Group 2024/2025 contest.
The esteemed jury faced a challenging task as they evaluated the best dancers and dance groups across six age categories and numerous nominations.
Meet the Judges
- Ivanna Rada Illyenko
- Former demi-soloist with Stuttgart Ballet.
- Soloist of the National Theatre Ballet, performing iconic roles such as Odette/Odile in Swan Lake.
- Winner of 3rd place at the Serge Lifar Ballet Competition.
- Magdalena Matějková
- Soloist of the National Theatre.
- Dance conservatory educator.
- Kateřina Radinová
- People’s Artist of Ukraine.
- Graduate of the Kyiv Choreographic School.
- Prima ballerina of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theatre.
- Currently a teacher at the Prague Dance Conservatory.
