On May 2, 2026, the semifinal of the prestigious Best World Dance Group 2026 will take place in Prague, presented in a spectacular Disney-style format.
Dance groups can apply in various dance styles and age categories, offering space for a wide range of talents. Performances will be enhanced by professional lighting design, theatrical scenery, and the iconic competition angel, creating a unique atmosphere.
Unlike the qualification rounds, the semifinal will also feature international groups.
🌍 What do winners receive?
Winners will receive grants to participate in the World Cup Dance Group 2026, held July 16–20, 2026 in Rimini, in the unique Mirabilandia Theatre.
Additionally, groups in the categories:
- Stylization
- Folklore
- Expressive Dance
will receive a special grant including:
- free accommodation
- full board
during a folklore festival in Greece (approx. 50 km from Thessaloniki), June 12–15, 2026.

- May 6, 2026 – Winners of Best World Dance Group 2025 will perform on the main stage of Disneyland during the festival “Europarks Sympathy” 2026
- June 6, 2026 – Grand Final of Best World Dance Group 2026 in the best concert hall in Brno
🎭 Jury & Special Awards
The jury consists of renowned Czech art professionals.
Final winners in the contemporary category will additionally receive:
- a grant for a masterclass by choreographers from La Scala, held in Rimini on July 19, 2026
🌟 Additional Opportunities
Finalists from Brno can also use their grants for:
- performances at “Europarks Sympathy” in Disneyland (2027)
- participation in cruise festivals “World of Youth” (2026/27)
- Best World Dance Group, Porto (November 20–24, 2026)
